PGDip in Sleep Medicine
The University of Oxford offers a two-year, part-time Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in Sleep Medicine. This program provides a comprehensive understanding of sleep science, clinical practices, and the societal impacts of sleep disorders.
Duration: Two years, part-time.
Delivery Mode: Primarily online, with a mandatory one-week residential component in Oxford.

Teaching and Learning Methods
- Lectures - pre-recorded sessions accessible at your convenience.
- Discussion Groups - real-time online interactions with peers and faculty, typically lasting 90 minutes.
- Assignments - preparation of short essays and presentations for group discussions.
- Residential School - a week-long, in-person session in Oxford to enhance practical understanding.
Assessment
Combination of written assignments, presentations, oral examinations, and online tests.
Entry Requirements
- A strong upper second-class (2:1) undergraduate degree or its international equivalent in a health-related discipline.
- Evaluation based on a personal statement, a pre-set essay submission, and performance during an interview.
Fees (2025-26 Academic Year):
- Home Students: £7,805 per year.
- Overseas Students: £12,025 per year.
Additional Costs:
Students are required to attend a one-week residential school in Oxford. The program subsidizes economy travel and basic accommodation up to £1,000; any extra costs are the student's responsibility.
